i have seen one beat a civic si aswell as a teg type r, so i would say its normal.

hahaha..you wont beat an acura cl type s. theyre hp isnt astonishing but theyve got some nice torque numbers. 260+hp and around 230 ft lbs i believe. i know thay weigh a lot but still

lol.....i know i know....D15B7

and yes they're really fast my cousin is the one i finally raced after years! i used to spank him in my boosted celica 1990 :) but not in this d15. lol

Its got a bigger engine for the added weight, so its fine that he beat you......you still beat him in gas prices? lol

CL-S are fast, they'll smoke 'em (the tires) to 25mph, i raced an Audi S4 from 60-110 and stayed right next to it. Civic shouldnt even try, the only thing not nice aboot cl-s is their traction bites and their cd players refuse to play on hot days. They're luxo "i like to accelerate" cars not gas savers. how much work was done to the celica, ive heard its hard to make good power out of em.
