New Member and needing help
 

Hey all, I'm new to these forums. I bought my 1999 Honda Civic Ex back in October and love it.
Only thing I don't like is that it is an Automatic.
But I might go through the pain of switching it to Manual when I get back from deployment.
Right now, I threw a rod in my current engine and I'm looking for a VTEC 1.6L SOHC to replace it. Or what do I need to do to switch to a DOHC?
And was wondering what all I could do as in upgrades performance wise in an Automatic?

Someone help me please?
