in all honesty... seriously: Buy a new car.

You said in your 15 other post in the last 5 minutes that you have $15,000, put down like 12 grand on a new 350Z, EVO, or something and use like 3 grand on a few mods here and there.

What do you mean? Did you mean 15,000 or 1,500??

You are going to put $15,000 (one lump sum) into the Civic? if it's all show and audio then thats a bit different, but to drop that kinda cash into performance mods is pretty outrageous... sure you will have a hella fast civic, but its still just as quick as some cars out there stock, under full factory warranty.

I've been there and done that so I know where you are coming from... my car was so far from stock that if I had a problem it would take hours and hours of computer work and dyno time to figure out what was up with it, not to mention a few bills. Not being a smartass or anything. You asked for opinions and I gave you one.

I might get flamed for this, but you sound like you dont need to be modifying a car. You have no Idea the kind of things that break and go into disrepair, especially after modifying a car. This wouldnt be a HUGE problem if you were intelligent, but in all honesty I think your a moron. Case in point: youve made at least 8 posts on the same thing in 3 different categories (that ive seen SO FAR). Heres the reality, your going to spend 1.5 - (however much a k20 costs) on a new engine. I seriously doubt you can do it yourself, so chuck in about 4000-6000$ for mechanic bills (assuming you want it done right and not from some dumbass). So far weve almost reached your budget. Oh and did I also forget to mention that you need to replace almost everything on the car, including the axles? Im assuming the EK model has the d-series motor, which in all honesty isnt worth much in my opinion (please dont flame me). Now things WILL break. Especially with a swap, or turbo, or nitrous. Do you have the mechanical knowledge to fix things that break? Drop an engine? Repair a blow turbo? Know what to do when [insert problem here] occurs? Ask yourself this before you start modifying a car, or you might just waste 15000$.
You want my honest opinion on what to do with your money? Either buy a new car, something like a 350z or Mustang Cobra, and learn from there. If you dont want my advice suit yourself. Have fun being miserable down the road.
