A Hemi what? Chrysler puts Hemis in a TON of different vehicles. And there's a big difference between a Hemi Crossfire and a Hemi Ram. I'm guessing Hemi Ram.

I work in the parts department of a Chrysler dealership, sorry but no Crossfire comes with a Hemi, it only comes with a 3.2 V6 mercedes motor either SC or not SC, I think you meant the 300C that you can get with a Hemi

No doubt, the best octane we get in our town here (a 600 person town with 1 gas station) is 89.5 Octane with 10% ethenol.......its really actually kinda pathetic, but oh well.....

At the pumps we have up to 94 Octane and at the 5 - 6 Sunco's in the area they 110 race fuel (CAM2) octane but they wont let you pump CAM2 directly into your car but if you fill a gas jug and then pour in your car they can't say nothing

Actually "your mommy's accord" is 240 horspower and does 0-60 in the low 6's where the hemi is in the high 6's so you'd win in the accord either way.

Actually it is a 2000 model and only has 220 hp. Sonce then they have added more hp, just thought I would let you know, I don't usually spout my stuff without knowing it.

why the hell chrysler dropped the ball on that car by not putting a beastly engine in there is beyond me. its a decent motor, but in a car that can outhandle Z06s, it just isnt enough. they finally got a chassis thats worth something, then they put in a stupid engine.

why would you want to switch your car from running on 86 to 93... if it doesnt spark knock on 86, than your not going to get more power out of 93. the lower the octane, the easyer it will explode, so when you have high compression, then you need higher octane to keep it from detonating before the spark. so if you run fine on 86, then when you have 93, it might run worse.

My bad, I assumed it was a new accord, yeah that one is in the mid to high 7's. The 2003 and up v-6 coupe though... definitely not bad for an accord.

Check out this site for the Coupe's 5.9 and 6.2 0-60 times (Just so I don't have my bubble bursted) :)

sacicons, ive driven one, and its really something. low 13s stock. (i believe 13.3 as rated by MT, for whatever that is worth) while it wont hang with a Z06 in the quarter mile, it is a great handling car. i feel that the ball was dropped more in the pricing than the engine design.
