get like a 92-95 hatch and throw a b20 and throw some mods in w boost. you should be areound 250 hp. if u do like intake, header and exhaust with boost. the b20 can handle the power, its a very durable motor

B20 is an LS motor I believe (can someone verify?). An LSVTEC or a CRVTEC (LS or CR-V block with a b16 or b18 head)is a good way to go, but the LS block doesn't really like high revs with stock internals. B18C1 (GSR), B16 (Si), B18C5 (ITR, expensive!) or an H22 would also be fine. Do your research though, don't ask other people what you should do and believe them...Research so you understand WHY certain advantages and disadvantages are to be had with each motor. What's your budget, btw? 200-250 whp whp would be plenty, especially on boost where you'll have lots of torque...300-400 means huge motor build = lots of money. Not sure if you have before, but you should probably get behind the wheel of a honda with more then 200 hp so you can see what thats like. You're talking about some big changes in controlability when you do pulls in 1st & 2nd with that much power. Good Luck!

Your handling would suffer, but in the straight that weight would make your tires stick really nicely. I agree, 200-250whp is plenty, like i said, mine is the exact same car your looking at and has about 175-180 CRANK hp, and i have trouble sticking in 1st and still in 2nd.
