why do ppl hate the 7gen civics ?
 

ok im sick and tired of hearing 7gencivics suck so lets put this issue under the ground i love the new honda civics and the old ones there aint one honda i hate i love all honda's 3 4 5 5 6 7 and soon will be 8gens im not a hater but im tired of the 7gen civic being dissed put down trashed etc . so dont be a hater its ok to dislike but but quite flaming the 7gens [:@] ps as ya 7sec is a hcf member with the fastest 7gen civic and there probably will be more in the near future .

I quite like the 7th Gens as well, i think ppl dont like them as much because they are new. Give it time, and things will change.

They are disliked because of the front suspension I belive

Some people simply don't like the styling. Some don't like the front suspension. Some don't like that it's harder to make one go faster. I simply have one to be different. I like to defy convention and have something that nobody else has, the first 7th gen in the midwest to have an 11 second timeslip.

the only thing I dont like is the front suspension. I also dont like the shifter on the Si. I know its better but I just cant get over its uglyness. Other then that with rims they look mighty fine. I dont even think there to expensive to mod. The newer the car usally it does get more expensive.


Except for se7ens, his sucks but all the other ones are cool

OH yeah, and I hat in the newer, I belive 05+ the new center console design. It is very tight and breaks easly when changing stereos. You suck.

As for the center console, I hate the ones that have the permanent armrest in it. I believe they started that in 02 or 03. Seems like that would make it more difficult to shift, especially with a short shifter.

i love the DIS, its about damn time honda threw that to us, but i HATE the returnless fuel system. makes the d17 almost not worth modding. for all the money you end up putting into a turbo kit, then needing injectors, and a bigger fuel pump. just get a damn swap, itll be just as fast as a mild turboed d17, and will be easier to mod up.

i think people dont like em cuz its not as easy to drop a motor in em as the 92-95's.......and the body doesnt look as good....theres too much goin on.
