well since everyone else is getting new cars... guess ill share mine so we picked up the car today, my friend(co-founder of RDR) and I bought it. drove it back from the guy who sold it to us home, which was about 45mins in traffic and it was fine. there are some bugs to be worked out but shouldnt be a big deal. going to put the car up on my lift sometime next week and inspect every inch of it. also do a full tune up(brake fluid, oil, trans fluid, etc..) and things of that nature. it'll be our rally car and we'll occasionally autox it for fun. were not going the whole nine yards with the build, just not enough money, but we'll be prepping it for Prepared FWD class. minor but very affective mods for sure. first thing were gena do is just get it running smoothly which means we'll be getting: -steering universal joint -new struts(possibly Koni Yellows) -brake rotors/pads(possible some decent blanks with EBC ((redstuff maybe)) pads) and we'll see if anything else needs some work once its up on the lift. taking a quick look at the underbody, it looks pretty promising. basically no rust underneath from what i could see. anyways, pics i got tonight and a quick vid. wasnt flooring it, just got it so u could hear the exhaust...or lack of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWmaPmr6ic8 may post a thread in the chop shop for ppl to photoshop. were tryin to get ideas for a paint scheme. something rallyish style that'll work with our team name decals running along the sides. also with some Hella fog lights. cant wait to get workin on it
