Ive been considering doing a turbo kit for a while now and I have finely decided to go through with it this summer. Now I am also considering doing a bit of an engine build JE pistons and rings and forged rodssince I will be putting on a new head studs to prevent head lift. My initial goal was 250whp, I heard stock b16a s can produce 350whp with a very good tune. But with a somewhat built bottom end the said pistons rods rings I am wondering what kind of power is possible. Basically what is the limit of the stock sleeves and stock valvetrain how much horsepower can they take. I will be tuning with Hondata with 440 or 550 cc injectors and walbro 255lph fuel pump. t3/t4 turbo is what I will be using I think and does anyone know about coolant lines for that turbo does it have coolant lines?

a friend of mine put down 424 whp on 23 psi on 10* of timing. on 93 pump
stock b16 head
simple piston and rod motor on stock sleeves nothing too crazy
stock bore and stroke
with GSR cams

as for coolant lines.. each turbo is different. you can get some with wet and dry versions. wet means it uses coolant and oil.. dry only uses oil.

Hey thanks for the reply man. If I decide to spend alot more money than I initially planned,I may end up with a similiar engine build.

Stock B16 head will move enough air for 700-800whp. Now, of course, that does not mean that you will not benefit from a PnP, but IMO if you aren't going for SERIOUS power don't bother.
