Default Reliable for 350whp?

Just swapped out my 75 mm vitaras for .02" over. I was told that these pistons in conjunction with my h-beams will hold 350whp. Also have ARP's, oem gasket, block guarded, and y8 oil pump from the dealership. Been reading about the shortcomings of the y8 pump, does it need to be ported or shimmedfor a reliable 350whp turbocharged d16y8? Also what power differences are noticeable with the slightly larger bore size?

always shim a dseries pump. they suck at oiling, yes the vitaras/eagles will be plenty good for 350

Sovxietday has an OEM oil pump that has been ported and he's running more than 350hp i beleive. So that could be an option for your oil pump.

He also has Vitaras, Eagle rods and ARP headstuds, i say you'll be good with your setup.

I trust his judgement, but I wonder how long he has been running that setup. I don't trust those cast vitaras when the life of my engine is at stake. I'm only planning around 260whp for my high boost setting and keeping the low between 225 and 235.Not lookin to make perty numbers at the track, just want a fun project without having to get new axles and transmission work done...not yet at least. At least I have the 1000 mile break in period to think it over. Any opinions on megasquirt?
