Default Y5 TO Z6 .

ok guys im about to buy an z6 head and my friend told me that i could keep my same ecu this was a shocker to me becasue i thought i needed and obd1 ecu p28 or chipped p06 with vtec mapped. so can someone varify this for me because i thought i would have to buy one of those 70 obd2 to obd1 jumper harness and ecu which would proably be another 150 all together. my cars is already vtec kicks in around 2700-3000.

you need a p28 or p06. Conversoin harnesses are about $75, andecu's can go from 150-200
