Default lsd ?????

Why would a front car need a diffarential dont they have a trans axle

the differential is there to split the power to both wheels. it takes the one output of the gears inthe tranny, and splits them to both wheels. an lsd does it more evenly than a normal open diff. (the diff is INSIDE the transaxle)
