Well i got a great deal on a 96 civic lx and was thinking about maybe trying a complete nos build on the engine and i know what i have to do it the engine to make it work well but the tranny is giving more problems then i thought it would.... like i have used a shift kit in my dodge ram and it worked wonders but everywhere i look for a shift kit for the auto trannys i come up short.. like is there a kit you guys know of where i can push the rpms to at least 8000 rpms before shift? I have been told that a torque Conver. will help but not really solve the problem.... any info you guys would be great

I don't think your tranny will holy up very long. I know they make aftermarket torque converters, don't know how good they are thou and they cost a pretty penny. As for 8k shifts I have no idea, other then swap to a manual. Your gonna need to upgrade your valvetrain also.
