d16y7 turbo over reving problem - 3/7/2008 3:22:45 AM    civic_turbo   Posts: 12 Joined: 3/6/2008 Status: offline I have a d16y7 turbo. When i over rev it at 3000rpm it releases pressure automatically through the blow of valve. after i reach 3000rpm the car keeps jerking and releasing pressure. i tried changing the boost with the boost controller, but it does not go over than 8psi. Is it because the ecu is programmed to run a 8psi? Somebody please help Post #: 1
