i'm turboing a d16z6 and i was wondering if i might need this to beef up the transmision

If your still running on your stock cluch yes. Don't buy that one get a new one, please.

risky... for 100 bucks i'd say go ahead but... if it turns out to be crap, you won't realize it until you've already put it in.

the trans was recently worked on and got a new clutch about 6 months ago

even with it being new... it won't last long under boost. i'd say you'll get mabey 4-6 months out of it before it starts slipping and that's driving pretty concervative.

I say 4-6 pulls out of it. The stock clutch can't hold ****.

Haha yeah, granted mine wasn't in the greatest condition to start with, I wore it smooth in a day.

stock cluth with boost FTMFL!!! get a stage 1 clutch

this is going to be a daily driver incase that matters, what brands would you recommend?

ACT, Exedy, Clutchmaster, Centerforce, Fidanza. all of these will do just fine. get a street disk for the easiest engagement for a DD.
