Default Will CAI turn on check engine, and will it void warranty.

I recently purchased a new 2005 Civic coupe EX.

I'd like to install a CAI, but I'm worried about the two things in the subject.

Has anybody installed one of these and gotten a check engine light when they started the car. If so, is this a real problem. If it's not a real problem...can you make the engine light come off.

Also, I'm worried about my warranty. It's brand new, and I've only had it for 3 weeks. I would be really upset if when I put on the intake my 36k mile warranty is no good.

im not sure about hte CEL, the new civics seem to throw codes really easily. but as for the warranty, no, it wont. unless you drive through a puddle and hydrolock your motor. they have to prove that the aftermarket part is the cause of the problem.

I'm also wondering...

I live in GA, and we have to go through emission inspections. Does anybody know if this will cause me to fail an inspection.
