Got the new turbo
 

Got my new 16g evo III turbo today. all it says on the front is on kind of a square it says
TURBOCHARGER
TYPE:DSM-EVO III
PARTNO: TD05
SERIALNO:EM0705136

I measured the inlet (side the filter goes on) and it was 2.25". I thought it was supposed to be 2.5"? Does anyone know? Thanks

TDO5 is right. 2.25 is right, it expands to 2.5 with the J-pipe that comes off the turbo. The inlet of the j-pipe is 2.25 on one side and 2.5 on the other. Thats a great turbo btw, it tends to fall off @ 6700 rpm though, but I have boosted it to 28lb consistantly, very solid @ 24lb though.

Thats sweet man thanks for the reply. I'm workin on getting my forged internals right now then ill be putting it in. I'll get some videos when its together

very nice response slow, i had no ideaa td05 could handle that much pressure, what kind of numbers were you showing at 28lbs? and what motor and or car?

just curious lol
