ORIGINAL: cyberx32 my car looks like that after a wash and wax. (but im guessing he just got a paint job or something cause there are no flaws in the paint. Got pics of your detailed ride? Whats your process? Also, you don't need new paint to get these results. This picture was taken when my paint was about 8 years old, Michigan winters included. edit: The original topic picture is a great shot, and an obviously good detail. Cool find!

Claybar, polish and wax can do great things. But on black paint everything looks like a mirror when super clean. P.S. check out my album. One ok shot of a clean black car (the one with my hood open) That was without using the claybar)

Not too bad, wish you had some clearer/closer pics though. clay polish and wax is a good way to go for most "regular" cars. Once you get into the high end stuff you gotta add a few more steps. Tons more work, but got dang is it ever worth it Hopefully the damn MIchigan weather will warm up soon so I can post before and afters of the suby. Got a lot of wheelin', rubbin', sealin', polishin' and waxin' to do
