I liked this clip. After watching this i'm rethinking turbo'ing a d16y8 engine with a mild build. I still want to do a GSR swap, but thinking about it for the cost of money for power a turbo'd D would stomp a b18c. Once I have enough money saved up I'll buy a replacement d16y8 with lower miles, do a mild build for turbo and prolly still be under the price of a GSR swap even without i/h/e.

The Y8 was only on 7 psi lol. at 10 psi he'd walk the RSX and lots of D-series turbo cars are up around 15-20 psi.

sorry to say if he was running against me I would of been lighting the crap out of him with my 4 ways. Actully both of them I ould of. A d16y8 only running 7lbs of boost. He probally hasnt done any work to the engine yet. Shoo the RSX if it was a type S shold of walked away a lot quicker than that.

^ This is a K24/K20 engine though, means he has .4 litres more then you, its a K20A2 head. You have a K20A3 from what I see, and they are weak ass.

um its not the head that is weak. goto www.ephatch.com/forum and ask them. but I will tell the weakest part of the K20A3 motor is the block. A lot of people have chucked out there block before th even goes. Thats one of the reasons why I want to get away from the A3 motor in general.

Ok but the A3 only has VTEC on one cam, the A2 has "full" VTEC on both cams.

haha which doesn't mean a thing, Vtec is EXTREMELY overated.  People act like its a turbo, and it really doesn't do a whole lot to his car.  Imports car is a beast, the A3 is a weak motor when it comes to bolt ons, but its compression ratio makes it one of the best motors to boost.  I agree with him 100 percent though, I just don't think the type s driver didn't know his car very well.

lol oh man. Yes VTEC is a turbo....

The Type-S driver has a 2.4 litre engine with real vtec. The K20A2 makes 200hp the K20A3 MAKES 160!!!.

Comon guys, I know you have more knowledge then that. Your sounding silly here...
