Trans oil ?
 
I have a 2000 ex with 120,000 miles and it currently shifts a little hard so I wanted too change the tranny oil but I wasn't sure which brand to choose either the Honda one or dexron III? All help is appreciated TY

definitely honda. i did a trasmission flush at the dealer using honda fluid and shifts a lot better. transmission is something that you want to go oem for

Do it yourself, it is easy. Make sure you havea hose or something to fit into the fill hole. I picked up a funnel with a tube from walmart that works great.

Could always try Royal Purple, I heard that they do make Trans fluid. Just a thought....I've never used it, but a good friend of mine swears by it.

Honda's need Honda oem fluid, they are just picky as hell. If it was any other car I would go with royal purple but not on a Honda.

I picked up some honda transmission fluid type ATF-Z1, I do not have the tool tomake sure what or how many pounds I am supposed to have it at while putting the bolts back on? how did others do it
