Use Honda OEM ATF-Z1 fluid only!!! costs about$6/qt. qts# needed 10-12
1. Bring the engine to operatingtemperature
2. You take out the drain plug (located on the pass (RH)side towards the frt bumper using a 3/8" ratchet) and approx. 2.5-3qts. will drain out
3. Put the plug back in. Add2.5-3 quarts (whatever gets you to the full mark).
4.Start up the engine and shift through all of the gears twice.
5. Shut it off, and drain again. Add 2.5-3qts (whatever gets you to the full mark),
6. Start the car and shift through all the gears twice.
7.Shut off the car, drain again and fill with 2.5-3qts. (whatever gets you to the full mark).
8. Start the car and shift through all of the gears twice.
9.Drain again and fill again with 2.5-3 qts. (whatever gets you to the full mark).
Now you are done! And good for another 100k miles

) This method will have replaced virtually all of your fluid.
This is what the Honda dealer will do and they will charge one hr labor - ($70-100 depending on the dealer) plus the fluid. DIY and save!
