I think what he meant was that straight line speeds are kinda useless, unless its going to be a drag car.

first off if your looking for extreme power, go with the evo, the scoobs need bigger turbos for 400+ whp i hear, and my tuner told me to get an evo over 400whp you just need to get cammed, bigger exhaust, front mount, injectors, and tuned to whatever...
but on the other hand, my tuner also has gone over to scoobs from his evo, so id go with the scoob cuz who needs 400+whp?
my buddy owns a 350z, its fun as hell, but having 2 seats sucks, they sound tight when i/h/e and htey will pwn most anything out there but they are just not as good as an evo or sti at well, anything. (besides being sexy as hell)

will pawn most everything out there? i LOVE the z. but no. just no. however id still rather have the z or the evo. power does not rule over the 10000 other things that have to do with a quality performance car. Like i said, if your rich and want just something to terrorize on the track, i wouldnt tell you not to get an evo... but if your rich. get a gt3. and if you not rich. dont get an evo. you dont want the headache. get a sti or get a speed6. i would tell you to get an e36 m, but i feel that might go on deaf ears on this forum considering the previous comment. 
im not sure why people are stuck on this quarter mile bit?  . heres an idea.. if you want a drag car.. by a drag car.. get a 04 poopstang cobra and go from there. you can still sit 4 in that.
