massive amounts of FAIL have been detected in that post...

Allow me to disect one of your main failure comments.  "Just buy a WRX and upgrade the turbo."  Does that turbo upgrade magically add another .5l of displacement to the motor?  Does the turbo upgrade come with the suspension and brembo brake package the STi sports?  How about a 6-speed trans, does the turbo upgrade come with that? DCCD?  See what I'm getting at here?

Base models and sport models are much more different than you're implying.  The difference between driving a modified WRX and a Stock Sti is unreal.  Just becasue the WRX is "faster," certainly does NOT make it a better car.  Same goes for your other comparisons

im confused forty.. you lookin for a better value then the evo 8 or an sti? .. and wtf is lev? wasnt he having problems with his 8? does he even post anymore?

He hasn't posted in a long ass time.  I was referring to the STi.  Better all around car for the sub $23k you'd spend on an 04-05 STi with <25k miles.

burnindesirez02 - If you want to do "cheap," stick with your civic.  You don't put cheap mods on this type of car, period.

oh ok.. well i love the sti.. but id rather a speed6 ( my next car). good performance and i little more grown up looking then the sti or evo. in my opinion.

I haven't driven a speed6 yet, but they seem like decent cars.  I have my doubts as far as them being as aggressive as an STi though.  But, again, it really just boils down to what you want in a car.  Clearly you're more interested in something comfortable and sporty, rather than rigid and all out mean.

not you!  I was talking to the ignorant one..

But, since you piped up, I must add...  Again, it all comes down to what you want in a car.  If you're looking for more creature comforts and a softer more forgiving ride, than yes the Speed6 is probably the car for you.

I perfer rigid and aggressive

....beause you're not as concerned with the fact that it doesn't handle, brake, or accelerate as well as the STi
