Don't get an Evo! They get really expensive really fast! On both of mine i find myself replacing parts all the time like fuel relays and fuses. They handle really good on the track but stuff still breaks ever so often. I would consider an STI they seem to be much more reliable. If you really want a cheaper build I dont think that you could go wrong with an LS1, you can get a 1998-2002 T/A for around $15,000 and they are a lot easier (and cheaper) to make fast. I'm actually looking about selling my 05 evo for a c5 corvette at the moment. But don't take my opinion that seriously, i just had some bad experiences over the past 6 years building evos I'm sure evos have worked out fine with a lot of others. I just think mitsu's hate me

350Z = A damn fine looking car that does not live upto the performance of the car that it replaced(300Z TT). There have been well documented suspension problems(call backs because of extensive tire wear and so forth). But like I said a nice look at me car. It also has a very nice exhaust note IMO

The EVO and STi can be looked at on the same level performance wise IMO because one will edge the other out then vice versa but if you take a road trip or sport one around town daily the STi hands down. It rides better and is far more comfortable plus has a nice fat under the curve tq band.

Anything with a LS1 or LS2 in it can handle great, maybe not as good stock vs stock against one of the AWD cars mentioned but with little stuff here and there it can be up there on the list(97+ F-Body, C5/C6 Vette, and/or GTO)

My LS1 likes to do the body roll. However, being able to stick a 325 wide tire without changing anything is just awesome.
