Default "01 civic ex noises

I have an "01 civic ex 4dr manual tranny. I notice that when I turn my wheels to the right there's a rubbing noise. The dealership lloked at it and of course could not replicate it. But they said my stut was bad. Any thoughts?
Also, when I engage the clutch, I get a popping noise as if the spring on the pedal was being stressed. Any idea what that is?
