if you have never even installed a head unit before, i really suggest you take this to a shop for the install for a full system.

any alternator will do, it just sounds like it's getting old, but you should probably do the cheapest first, the negative battery cable is where i'd start.

you should have left the o2 sensor in and installed the sim properly, the electrical sims i have installed only use the 3 wires, the heater wire stays in place and the o2 sensor stays installed so...

yeah, read the sticky, basically backpressure is a non issue for our cars, but also going bigger than 2.5" non boosted is useless
