I would just get the exedy oem clutch unless your planning on crazy boost. How much are the stage 2/3 anyways? If they are not much more expensive I would get the best one as a clutch is not fun to keep having to install[:@] And nice choice on the motor! I have the d15b7 and tranny too, suks[:'(] I am looking to replace my engine, mabey I will just do the same as you instead of swapping a b series or h22a, cost too much $$ and my car is a 94

^^ ya I have seen them on there a few times, there's alot of fake parts on ebay if your not carefull. I just try to use the Canadian parts dealer websites I got from fiirkan:D Then I can avoid custom and border charges as well

i must have changed my mind about 10000000 times between the D15b and B16, it came down to me figuring out that i can get sooo much more horsepower from the single boosted(always wanted a boosted car) for the same price as the B16 swap.....o and what really did it was the fact that i FINALLY found forged rods and pistons MEANT for the JDM d15b from fjdistributors:D

NEXT self-etch prime the bare metal

then the anodized color top coat***it doesnt look like it does in real life, it looks more anodized, its the same stuff i used on the valve cover in my sig...

lol you must be like me then, I have changed my mind over what I want so many times now I think ive confused myself lol. And thats smart thinking with the cost vs. cost and what your going to get in the end for your hard earned $$. That engines is really clean looking, where did you order it from? Anyways looking forward to updates and pics on your progression with this, good luck;)

haah we're all in the same boat then, I have had a half-built turbo D16Z6, B20B, B16A, B16B and now I am waiting for an H22A to get here. But I swear, its the last engine this time! Looks good, those little D15Bs are potent plants.

Its not "poor man's VTEC-E" and its probably not 3-stage. Its a plane old JDM D15B 130hp VTEC engine.

Its a D series SOHC so its a2 stage cam, its VTEC-E. Its not VTEC, there are major differences. A lot of these ricer D series owners fail to appreciate that

Im not slating the D series engine or this man's choice of the D15B, its a good choice for turbocharging, better than any B series as far as cost effective performancegoes. But if keptN/Athen its just....lol

Your a retard. There are different D15Bs, just cause you cant find them on wikipedia doesnt mean they dont exist. Learn your D engines before you go talking about things you dont know about.

the vtec-e engine is found in the 92-95 vx models and its engine code is d15z1 and in 96-00 hx models and is stamped d16y5. A d15b is an almost identical engine to the d16z6 with the exception it comes from japan, has 5 more hp than the z6.
