02 S/C'd Si vs. RX-8
 

For starters, I got in a wreck last week on a bike and really hurt my right foot. After a week of healing, I can kinda stand on it now and drive. Friday I went to a buddies house to show him the carnage of the wreck, and on the way home met up at a light with this RX-8. The minute I pull up he bangs his loud exhaust of redline, and his girlfriend looks out the window and is staring down my car. It has in dash navi, lowered with exhaust and thats the only mods I could see on the car. Now, my foot is hurting, and I don't condone racing on the street so I just sat there. The light turns green and of course he nails it, hits second then has to slam on his brakes because we're at another red light. When I got beside him I laughed, that light turned green and we were both at the bottom of second. He hit it, so I figured I wanted to see what I could do against this mazda with the new jackson setup. About 3 grand he could start to hear the whine, and by 7 I had pulled half a car on him with the s/c screaming. Hit third, and plowed into it again, pulling away even harder than before. Had to stop because my foot was hurting, but he got the picture. Haha he kept it pegged and just flew by, I waved and headed home. Chalk another one up for the egg :)

That pretty crazy. Why go with a S/C though? isn't a Turbo more practical than the s/c? well anywaycongrats on the win. sorry bout the accident

I got a great deal on it, and I wanted instant power. But more so the great deal I got on it.

Cmon Ben, if you're gonna tote having the fastest car around you need to be racing something faster than a stock RX-8. 14 seconds does not aid in the image you are trying to portray.

I guess his earth shattering low 14's were just too much to handle, and he couldn't resist showing everyone how awesome he is.
