everythings great with it, exept one thing.
Stock Stero,
Casset tape ****ty deal.
I was wondering how to put a Cd player and hook up some new speakers and **** in it.

most of the time you can just drop in a new headunit depending on your civic pop the one thats in there out and take a look then for speakers you might have to finda diagram for em
Ive installed 3 different stereos into my car. 1 had to do twice cause i swapped dashes. I know that for me its just wires hanging loose behind the center bezel. If you take that thing off (4 screws) you should be able to see where the wires go. I know know if the OEM had a harness or what. from what ive seen most people just cut the wires strip and splice to the new head unit. I think you will have to get a instal kit too. I know when i got my car it came with a black trim peice that makes everything look good in the hood.

Get a harness adapter! Don't cut the wires in the car! It's so much easier.
If the stock speakers are still OK you can just start with a new head unit until you have time and/or money to do the speakers. The head unit is standard DIN size so no install kit is necessary other than the harness adapter.
metra 70-1720 harness adapter. The fronts are 6.5 in. thin/shallow mount unless your going to work out the depth issue on your own. less than 2 inches.
