it says woofers, but do they mean speakers? These are meant to replace the stock tweeters/front door speakers in my 00 civic ex right?

And if I'm going to replace the two rear speakers and add a sub I would want an amp that can power it all(5 channel amp for 2 front/rear speakers and sub. If I wanted two subs I would need 2 amps, 6 channels total?)

thanks

Howdy....
A 5 channel will work with 2 subs, provided they are single 4 ohm drivers. Typically the 5th ch. is a mono capable of a 2 ohm load, NO more.
The kicker ZX700.5 is a great unit @ 2ohms the mono ch is 420watts. A single dual 4ohm sub would LOVE all that power.
As far as woofers.... yes they mean speakers, drivers, etc.

If anything remove your rear speakers. Run the 4 full-range channels to the component set and use an electronic crossover :)

I've ordered my stuff..from ebay and am waiting for my QUALITY products to arrive. I'm pretty sure I'll have no problems, even if I did get it from EBAY, for those who have doubts.

anyway, I got boston acoustics component system, boston acoustics rear 6x9's, mtx 12" sub, boss 5 ch amp, and a tsunami amp kit. One of the sellers won't ship out until 4/14, which is rediculous, 3 days to ship?
