I'm really not sure if buying this magnaflow direct fit cat from summit racing will benefit any. I have a magnaflow muffler 2.25" with 2.25" piping no resonater at the moment. Will it help out any to buy a aftermarket cat, im planning on buying a header also later on down the road. Thanks.

it might. idk if that magnaflow is a high flow cat or not, but you have a 95 so your stock cat is probably pretty dirty/possibly a little clogged up. If it's a high flow cat then it will definitely help with hp a little.

I found a good site to get a magnaflow 2.25 cat for like $63 w/free shipping. My question now is about obd2 and 1. I have a 95 honda civic, would it be obd2? If not can I use obd2 on a obd1 car. Thanks.

Why do you even want to use an OBDII cat on a OBDI. Personally I think it's dumb. OBDI cats don't have a bong for the O2 sensor and the OBDII cats come with the bong, What are going to do about the hole, Just get a universal Magnaflow High Flow cat for your car it's that simple or get a direct fit

Go to partstrain.com That's where i got mine (I bought a direct fit one). I was reading somewhere before I bought it though and those ones are high-flow. It came out to like 90 bucks after shipping. You have OBD1.

I prefer direct fit, no welding.

Okay, well I look for the obd1 cats, didnt know which one my car was. The site I looked at had all obd2, the price was good. Was gonna just get a direct fit one, but i dont have stock pipes any more, was looking at how they connect...Theres a flange from the cat to the pipes, Im not sure at the moment how they even connected the 2.25 pipe to the cat, would they have had some coverter flange? If Im gonna have to have it welded on anyways, dont wanna pay more for the direct fits.
