Have you already found a way to wire the amp to the head unit, or are you just going to connect into speaker wires.
In other words, in there a sub output or any pre-outs in the back of the head unit?

Sure.

Run the power wire and RCA cables separate from each other, they don't have to be on the other side of the car, but at least a good foot or so.  If you want, upgrade to shielded cable to avoid picking up outside signal or causing interference.

Try to keep the wires away from any other signal or charge emitting device such as other cables, lights, gauges, etc.

Use a sufficient power and ground thickness, the more the merrier.

Upgrade to the "big 3" which consists of a larger alt to batt wire, and better ground

Make your cables/wires as short as possible, this allows for less resistance and less outside signal to pick up

The thicker and smaller the ground cable from the amp the better, try to keep it within 15 inches, and it should be as thick as the power cable.

Properly clamp down the ends of all power or ground sources, make sure you don't ground your amp by screwing into the wire ends.

Don't keep your amplifier in a location that it cannot get ventilation

Do not attach your amp to your sub box

Use sufficient sized speaker wire as well
