loosen that black metal thing, then unhinge the clips behind the seats
then the rest is also a bitch since there's overlap with the other decks |

dito theres no easy way........ its a HUGE PITA.... so what i would sugest is when you do get it all swaped out then this time mount your new speakers from the botom ;)

actually here's an idea
glue or somehow attach a nut to each hole in the 6x9 or w/e speaker choice that way, you can screw the screw in from the trunk rather than inside the car |

ya thats what i ment.... tho i prefere SHORT self taping screws. a nut thats been glued on can spin.... and then you have to go thru all that trouble again if you ever have problem with the speaker or what not...

I have a 98 so I dont know how much of a difference there is.
The side panels overlap the rear deck, I was able to bend mine enough to just pull it out. Putting it back in was no problem. The thing will bend alot without breaking. |

K well i'll give all that a try, i really just need to get the bitch to stop rattling every time my subs hit. I dynamated the whole trunk, and its quite as can be, but i spent a lot of money so i'd really like to have no rattling. lol
