...argh. Anyone else ever had to serve jury duty?

I hope they exempt me, because it's a BAD time. Orientation is the Friday of my finals week and only one hour after my last final. It's also the day before graduation. If not, I'm gonna have to speed to get there, and I don't even really know where there is.

Just make sure you act single minded so they wont pick you...

I'm 20 and i've never had to serve on jury duty... is it because i'm in school still?

Nope. I'm still in school and I just got picked. It's apparently a random process. The choose you through voter registration or drivers license information. At least, that's how it is in Arkansas.

They wont cancel in snow. And im pretty sure if you call and tell them the situation, that they might reschedule you. I had to go and sit there for like two hours, then go to the little room for like half an hour, and then i didnt get picked.
