Hi,
I'm new to the forums. It seems my tranny is shot. Yesterday, I started the car and drove off. As soon as the car warmed up The car wouldn't move and it wouldn't take any shifts. Today I saterted it again, took off and it drove for a few block and the same thing happenned. I checked the fluid and it was fine but I did notice small metal particles in the oil.

Is my tranny shot?

Oil Is FINE, cHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON BUT OTHERWISE, Car drives (no shaking or anything) and then all of a sudden BOOM, the car does not move no matter what gear I put it in.... Also, when I checked the oil and cleaned the dip stick with my finger there were very small glitter like pieces of what it seemed metal. Whent the car starts cold it it take every gear so it's not like its getting stuck in reverse. It shifts from first to second and so forth
