Default PS3

Hey everyone. Just a quick note, I finally traded all my PS2 stuff in and got a new PS3 for my DLP 73" Mitsubishi TV. Tonight was/is a glorious night with seeing my TV in 1080P for the first time sense the show room floor a year ago.......

Anyway. Anyone know about this new six axis controller that is coming out that has the rumble feature built in? Should I hold off on just getting another six axis?
Also anyone know about this guitar:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...:IT&ih=010

I see them all over ebay and just wondering if they are a substitute....

Even though I only got the 40gb, at least I got my HDMI cable and I have to say its pretty sick. Look forward to killin you fools on some CD4!

it's called a dualshock 3. It's basically the ps3 controller with ps2 rumble. And they came out a couple weeks ago in the US. Japan had them since october or november, different countries, same controller.

I have guitar hero, I would stick with guitar brands you can find in the store. Stay away from no name, used/refurbed guitars on ebay like the one you posted.

Gran Turismo 5 prologue came out today. The full game won't be out until next year but this is a great "demo". 60 cars, 6 tracks, online play, future downloads(cars, tracks, etc.) Only $40.

Another thing, get an HDMI cable from monoprice if you don't have one already. They're only around $10-$15 and give you the EXACT picture other hdmi cables that cost $50-$100 in store.

once you hook up hdmi cable go to your ps3 display settings; resolution and only check 720p/1080p, uncheck all other resolutions. Then for RGB display, set it to FULL.

There was a new update the other day, 2.30.

sorry for long post, but it's useful info

edit: I read you got an hdmi cable, check your settings if you haven't already. New CoD4 maps come out tomorrow or next thursday(PS store gets updated every thursday evening)

Id say id play you in cod4 but i dont wanna embarass you. Its kinda nerdy but i was in the top 3k in the nation on 360, but i stopped playing, too many people started hackin it and glitchin, so i moved on to rainbow six vegas 2. Side note, if you ever have intentions of being good at a game, like REALLY good, you have to start when it comes out. But congrats on the huge tv.. Hows the view? I was told by my friend he doesnt evenlike his 42" cuz he actually has to move his head to look at different parts of the screen. I think that would bug me

you're not supposed to sit that close to larger tvs. The bigger the tv the further back you sit, you should never have to move your head to see around the screen. lol

BTW RSV1 and 2 sucks horribly. 1 was good when it came out, but with newer games it made me realize how bad the game is, poor graphics, horrible framerate, bad online hosting and 2 is basically 1 with newer guns/maps. The same problems exist from the first one. CoD4 is fun although I've reverted back to socom CA and the new map packs from socom 2(11 free maps, best online shooter)

I wouldn't say it's nerdy to ranked that high, there's just a lot of losers that cheat/cheeseplay to get ranked that high without actually playing right. Another reason why I stopped playing cod4 are because of hit detection, mainly headshots and the martydom/last stand perk. Worst idea for any game

Couple quick responses back here for you guys. Yes I got the new patch/download V2.3, and I got my HDMI cable hooked up (first thing!).
Second thing is my TV is the poop, Mitsubishi 73" (DLP). It doesn't matter where you sit, or how you look at it, picture looks great from every angle. I have NO complaints what so ever about it, other than the price I paid for it. I sit about 10'-12' back, and my sound is backed by an Onkyo 7.1 (I added another sub so I have 2 10')

As for as COD4, I have played online at a buddies house and got the taste, but I have to admit that I am not a huge on it, but I know I can hold my own. I am looking forward to the new SOCOM, as I have been a SOCOM FIEND from the beginning.

Once you see PS3 on HD, you don't want to play on a standard television. I was watching a Blu Ray movie on my uncle's 1080i projector last weekend and the quality was amazing on the big screen.
