Used rota slipstreams - what are they worth?
 

Here is an ad I found on craigslist:


15" [15x7.5] Rota Slips Black with 205/50/15 Kuhmo Ectsa, mounted and balanced.
less than 500 miles, fresh, no lip or curb checks.

Paid $800, first $650 cash takes it


He said I could take them for 600 OR make an offer. I haven't seen them yet, but assuming they're in good condition, what do you think I should pay for them?

That's a pretty decent price IMO. If the tires are really that new and the rims are mint, 600 is fine. I'd still offer him 550 cash and run with 'em.

i'd give no more than 550, and that's if the tires and rims are mint mounted and balanced. plus the esctas are poor quality imo.

as long as the tires are fine and the wheel isnt bent, not a bad deal.

whats wrong with Kumho's? some of the Ecsta series arnt that great, but others like the SPT's are excellent.

I had Ecsta Supra 712 and they were AMAZING! I have Kumho ASX's right now and love them. Leave it to EJ6 to hate on something. lol

You can get them new from a vendor off of ebay for $350...granted that's without tires, but it's still cheaper AND they're new.
