Ugh...I just hope that your local "stealership" is better then mine. Last summer I was 90% sure I had a front wheel bearing going (1997 with 135,000km...no surprise there) The "service manager" refused to give me a straight answer ("If my car made these noises under these conditions, could it be _________?") and said that they would have to take it for a test drive to be sure. called "diagnosing" then they would have to put it on the hoist to double check that. Called "inspecting". I asked if that was included in the labor to change the damned wheel bearing. They said no...so I said "**** you, I'm never setting foot in here again, no matter how stuck I am!" and I havn't...don't even drive on their lot to look at cars! Best of luck with the oil change and the TSB...let us know how it all goes
