I have for sale a 1999 Honda Civic SI with the stock B16A2 engine. I would like $6500 but give me an offer and well see what we can do! That or I would love to trade for a new Honda or Harley motorcycle. It has just under 110,000 miles on it. I have babied this car since I bought it a couple of years ago and have performed the routine maintences on it. I am selling it because we just had our baby a few weeks ago and now need to get a 4door. I am very sad to let this car go! I DID NOT RACE THIS CAR EVER EVER! THAT IS NOT WHY I BOUGHT IT SO DO NOT GET THE WRONG IDEA! All the mods I did were for looks and to make it sound/run better. Here are a list of what I have done to it:
-Custom Type-R Yellow paint job with ghost flames on front fenders. There were flames on the hood, but replaced hood last year
-VIS Carbon Fiber Hood, only about a year old
-Painted valve cover
-Performance cooling fan
-Custom Tanabe Hyper Exhaust system
-Engine bay sway bar
-New Panasonic head unit, cost a little over $350.
-Premium Polk Audio System
-Kumho Low Profile tires with about 40-50k miles. Still has good tread
-B&M Short Shifter.
-Python alarm system
-Super Xenon Headlights
I JUST had the alignment done the other day, as well as the oil changed. Since I have had it, I have used 5W-30 high mileage synthetic oil and it has no leaks whatsoever. I also just replaced the starter, distributer cap, spark plugs and wires about 1 year ago. All of the belts were changed on it, I was assured from previous owner, at 80k miles. I have had it in many times and they have all said they look good still.
The only things really wrong with the car are: your everday dings from your everday aholes. There is a pretty good chunk out of the grille from some lovely individual who backed into me and never said anything. Then of course theres rock chips and scuffs on the front bumper. I HAD a brand new bumper, but left my garage unlocked one night so of course that and the new grille were stolen and just havent had the money to buy new ones. The throttle position sensor is bad, causing the car to surge at some points, but I DO have the part, I just havent had time to replace it with my daughter arriving, but it is a very easy fix for those of you who are even remotely mechanically inclined. The clutch has NOT been replaced, so it does have about 110,000 miles on i, but I never ride it or downshift. It hasnt even come close to slipping, so I know it still has alot of miles left on it. Yellow ? If it was the stock color, I'd know a bunch of people
that'd be all over this, but the yellow. Sorry chief.'
Like, I'd probably try to sell my car and by yours.
It sounds like a pretty sick deal, but it's yellow.
