2 seconds in the 1/4?  You're going to need a turbo or a supercharger to do that unless you have some deep, deep pockets

Or you could get an h22 swap for around $4k all said and done and run 13's without boost

Dropping a full two seconds off your time is going to be difficult and expensive.  The easiest and cheapest way to drop "some" time of you 1/4 is to fully gut the car, seats, ac compressor abything that adds weight. There are a few other tricks I heard around the way like running with lower tire pressure, about 18-1/4 tank of gas stuff like that. But doing all that may only drop your time by .5 at the most I'd say. Your not gonna be able to beat a Talon without shelling out a good some of money unfortunately.

Running with a lower tire pressure increases tire flexing, creating more rolling resistance.  I don't see how that can improve your acceleration.

Nor can I. That's why I said its stuff I've heard. I've never tested it personally.

The quickest, easiest, and cheapest way to get the most power out of your car is Nitrous which IS very safe if used properly. 94 ex/stock motor would take a 75HP shot nicely. That would be anywhere from $600-$1500 installed depending on what system and options you go with. Even then you still won't be 2 full seconds quicker most likely. So get your computer tuned too. You can easily gain horsepower just by altering the factory tune/program in the computer, especially when it's tuned FOR nitrous.

As far as letting air pressure out of the tires, only help on the starting line for traction. After that, rolling resistance will kill your times.
