Need to install the remote wire? - 4/20/2008 1:08:36 PM    sboarder97km   Posts: 153 Joined: 11/20/2007 Status: offline When installing the head unit i never attached the wire labeled remote wire fromt he head unit to the amp. You'll never need your amp ON when your radio isn't. Just run the remote wire back. RE: Need to install the remote wire? - 4/21/2008 8:22:04 AM    mk378   Posts: 2022 Joined: 6/5/2007 Status: online If you want to keep a seperate switch, also connect the red wire on the head unit to the switch instead of the ignition circuit.  Then you can turn the switch on and play music without the key on.  This will also remind you to turn it off when you leave the car.
