Default Funny situation, I have 2000 si with non si engine

Well, I got a 2000 civic si with a non civic si engine in it. The engine/tranny had been stolen so the previous owner put an engine and tranny from a civic dx in it. My question is this:

If I want to do a swap in into it. Should I put a civic si engine in there (b16a2), if I do that- will the transmission also have to be changed? Or are the 5 spd transmissions all the same?

thanks
meek
