guys guys, lets be friends now. turbo manifold or header, at the end of the day its just flanged piping with compressed gases flowing though it. i think if i do a swap, i'm doing the b16a2. i was looking around for a gsr swap and it looks like it would run me about an extra grand, a grand i could be putting towards boosting the b16. i'm still very tempted to turbo the d16 though. wouldn't be quite as expensive as a swap and i think more fun

its a header. if you go into a perfomance shop and ask for a turbo header, thats what you will get. we all know thats not what Leviii originally meant, but he has a point now.

I never said that mossy should get a turbo header. Actually I wouldnt suggest one. I was suggesting a normal N/A header like a greddy or DC. Someone laughed at me and proceeded to say I know nothing about turbos and that a header (actually they said headers) is worhtless with a turbo. Thats where this thread went way off topic.

all i had said was that i wouldn't get a n/a header because i'd probably be yanking it off in a few months anyway for a turbo, so i'm exempt from starting any feud . thanks for the suggestions tough lev and pcupo

how about this?

engine/tranny

axles

turbo setup (minus oil and vaccum lines, setup i chose is aproximately $1150)

that puts me at about $3490, damn i'm a bargain shopper .
i'm definately figuring a few extra $100 for misc. parts and whatnot
