Hey everyone. I just bought some new 17" wheels for my wife's 1993 Honda Civic Si coupe. I bought some 17X7.5 with an offset of 40 and will be using 205/40/17" tires. Will this fit her car? Thanks!

View Full Version : Help! - Will These Fit??? gsbadbmr 04-23-2008, 03:56 PM Hey everyone. I just bought some new 17" wheels for my wife's 1993 Honda Civic Si coupe. Have you tried them on? gsbadbmr 04-24-2008, 02:15 AM My concern is the new 17's i purchased for her are 17X7.5 (half an inch wider) than her other 17" wheels (17X7 40 offset) and have a 2" deepdish. The reason i'm asking if these new wheels will fit is because the car is still in storage and i don't have access to it until the weekend. reaper2022 04-24-2008, 01:16 PM is her car lowered? If it's still at stock height, they should fit without any real rubbing problems... if it's lowered, the tires will probably rub. macbeth18288 04-24-2008, 01:28 PM How come you couldn't wait to get the wheels until you got your car out? gsbadbmr 04-24-2008, 05:44 PM reaper...my wifes car is really low but has no rubbing issues with her current setup. Well, tonight i took my wife's car out of storage. I jacked up her car and put the new 17" wheel on and it clears everything and spins freely without a tire. I ordered the tires 2 days ago and will receive them next week. I think the 17X7.5 offset 40 should fit with the 205/40/17 tire. Surely there has to be someone that is running, or has fit 17X7.5's with a 40 offset??? |
