I decided to just bridge the amp instead of amping 2 other speakers.

I did as I was told drilled two holes on the other side of the box from where the other two wires went in.

I have it wired like this:

I have a wire on the plus and minus on the A channel and this goes to the plus and minus on the right side with the stock wiring holes.
Directly below I have the plus and minus connected on the two ports and the whole bottom row is a bridge section.

The way it was stock wired was the + went into the plus whole and then was fed into the + on the first speakers + and then another wire was wrapped on it and under the same plug and went over to the other speakers plus. It was 18 gauge wire.

When I hooked it up I....

Took off their crossover wires and ran my new bridged plus and minus lines to the first speaker as they did. Then I replaced the line going over the the plus and minus and put in my bigger 14 gauge wire on it.

When I turned it on the subs did not come on. They dont move when I touch them with my hand or do anything. The only thing I did notice different was that my car dome light went "in and out" as in got dimmer and brighter and if you turned the volume up as the light did what it did at the same time there would be a static sound on the radio and it was almost cut out the sound.

Thanks for any help. I just wanted to add more power to my subs and now I have nothing.

Okay this is the original wiring:

This is my new wiring. I used the wrong color wiring for at least one part I know but I traced it and made sure it went to the correct location.

As you can see I followed their same pattern. I left the 2 original inputs onto the speakers and wrapped the two new wires that came in on each positive original wire and on each neg original wire and then ran it over to the other speaker just as they did only I upgraded the small 18 gauge wire to 14 gauge wire.

This is how its connected on my amp:

I simply used channel A. I originally had just the two wires on the top row on channel A going to the subs. Now I used the black and the green wire directly below the other two wires to run to the subs also. They are on the bridge row.
I know I have all the +'s and -'s hooked up correctly but my subs wont even turn on. No fuse is blown.
Do I connect the bridged wires under channel B?

The amp guide shows a completely different hookup. Its so weird as I only had two wires going to the subs originally and so I only used two plugs but they show using one plug for each speaker. Yet the bottom half of the plugs are labled "bridge"....

I assume you have the entire amp dedicated to the subwoofers. In that case you should configure it in 2 channel mode (mono). Connect the two subwoofers as shown on the bottom of page 10 in the manual. There is a pair of independent plus and minus wires from each speaker to the amp. Do not connect the speakers together at all. Independent wires to the seperate terminals on the amp. Bypass everything in the box and just bring the wires direct from each speaker out the new hole to the amp. Your subwoofers need to be 4 ohms each. This amp will not work with 2 ohm speakers in bridge mode.

That may be to much to ask. I just wonder though if thats the only way to do it?

Let me get this straight. I will bypass the stock wiring. Drill two more holes and come in with 4 new lines one for each positive and each ground and thats bridged? On the chart it shows using the top 4 slots and since I do not have a 3rd what do I do to bridge them?

Give us the specs on your subwoofer. Is it 2 ohm, 4 ohm, 8 ohm??

Are you attempting to connect both channels of a 2-channel amp to one subwoofer? Most amplifiers cannot do that. Sony especially.
