I want to bridge my amp to get 150 watts to each sub as stated in its manual. It does not however state how to bridge them only that it can. I have two MXT 4500's and you know the model number of my amp as its stated above. I want to bridge them to get that full 150 watts to each of my two subs. Its a 4 channel amp and it can be bridges to go from 75 watts to each channel to 150 watts to each channel.

Go to page 10 of the manual, the bottom section. Wire the speakers exactly as shown. You can run all 4 wires thru one hole in the box if you want. The subs should say 4 ohms on them. If they are 2 ohm units they will not work with that amp. Your link to the manual is now dead. There must be a switch on the amp to select its operating mode. You want "2 channel bridged mono". Note that when you bridge an amp you are using two of its channels to drive one speaker. Thus you get more power per speaker, but fewer useable channels.

Bottom shows how to put 3 speakers on but if you say so. But that does not mean its bridged right? I looked all over the amp and there is no switch that says "bridge" mode. It just shows a chart that says A * * ------- Bridge * * That's how it looks. They are 4 ohm subs. I have had them hooked up before running I just want to bridge them and my manual says nothing on how to do this.

Whatever it was near the last page in the manual about 2 channel bridged mono mode. It showed 2 speakers. You will have to change something on the amp to set it to bridged mode. That will be in the manual. When you use bridge mode you connect one speaker to 2 amplifier channels, one wire from the (+) of the speaker to one channel and the wire from the (-) of the speaker to the other channel. Some of the speaker terminals will be unused.

Well I read on like page 3 of the manual and it seemed to say bridge mode was like you said. I tested it and its a noticeable difference for sure at lower volumes there is more bass. Also at high....ha ha Thanks a lot I have learned a lot even from this little bit of wiring.

I went to the last page and it seems I just have it connected better but its not bridged. I bet I still have it wrong. Page 11 the last english page shows two channel stereo mode and two channel MONO mode. I want stereo correct?

Doesn't matter much. The bass to a subwoofer is always mono. Some head units only have a single RCA output for the sub instead of a stereo pair so mono mode on the amp is useful for that.

I set it up in 2 channel mono like you said so its bridged....It made a difference the first time going from pulling 2 speakers from 2 screws and then from 4. But now its bridged its like enough to actually hurt my ears thump. Amazing. And thats at like 150 watts each out of the 245 watts each they can handle RMS....
