Hey,

A friend of mine is selling his car and is willing to sell me his front and back Tokico Struts for $200. He said the rear ones have 6k on them and the front ones have 1k miles on them. My car is almost at 95,000, and I figured I'm going to need some new ones soon anyways. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Do stock springs work with aftermarket shocks?

are they the adjustable illuminas or just the blues?
I wouldn't pay 200 for used tokico blues, I just bought a brand new set for 240 on ebay.  I would suggest that you either negociate the price or just buy new ones.

well it is about half price of new... if they are the HP BLUEs..
not to bad... i think thats abotu what i got for my old blues  as long as they all work great....  its a decent buy. BUT if your stock struts are fine id just keep them. or maybe offer 150bucks for them..

or if he is gonna remove them from his car and yours is the same why not switch them both at the same time.... that way you wont have to swap springs off and such, which im sure you both could apriciate. ;)
