Hi. I got me an 86 civic with torsion rod front.
they seem VERY spongy, very soft and are easy to land on the road.  im aware that one of the shocks is more worn than the other, and that side does offend worse.
what i want to know is if they are serviceable, or just plain need replacement. do they 'wear' or 'sag' or do they just plain break?
if they do need replacement, who knows of any good suppliers - who can also send o/seas.
otherwise, can you convert to coil spring by any means? the car has koni shocks which will be rebuilt regardless, but i feel the spring rate itself is a little on the loose side.

any thoughts or help is appreciated.

cheers.
