Any fellow civic drivers know of any good place to get your car tuned? i just turbo'd my civic so im lookin for a good place to get my car tuned nicely.

what do you mean what program ami running? i just got a boost controller with the turbo which has a integrated turbo timer in it

what ecu program, crome? uberdata? neptune? ectune? hondata?

oopsy... Your going to need a management system if your going to get your car tuned....

You need a program so that you can get your car tuned at a dyno. Unfortunately all the good reliable systems are kinda expensive. you need to first get your ECU chipped or buy one already chipped, conversion harness, and either Hondata, chrome, neptune, etc. like mentioned above program. Most people will spend the extra money for a reliable program. Cause that is the brains behind your whole operation. Technically you don't need a management system for your ECU, but it is very wise.

Hey im from NH and there is a place in somersworth, nh called Todd's Touch and they do a great job with dyno tuning cars. I got a98 HX with a OBD1 GSR B18C1 Turbo. I got the p72 computer and thought i was good, haha wrong. I was running 7 psi according to my gauge, and i could tell she needed a tune, and i dont have the knowledge to do it myself. they tuned her right up for me, and i run 14psi, about 265whp. Not bad :-) Hondata baby you cant go wrong

^^^ I was just in somersworth the other day, trying to find a shop that has a replacement gasket for my header. It's a two piece and the midway went again and meganracing doesn't have any in stock. Someone told me Glenns would it's an exhaust muffler shop i guess. But got down there too late and was closed.... I got to remember that place once i get my turbo setup going. :)

dont get a piggy back...FTL. Hondata s300 is 600$ or so. You can get an obd1 ecu and tune it with crome which will still run you $500 for the setup and tune, so eitherw ay, its at least 500

isn't it illegal to get an obd1 ecu? i heard hondata is good tho

Hes got an 02 civic he can't run an obd1 ecu.

would it be dumb just to get a s100 i don't want to go to crazy with somethin like this i wanna go closest to basic..

If you get chrome I believe it's like half the price of the Hondata s300. And will work fine for you. You can also try searching classifieds on dif forums for used programs.

is chrome like a cheaper version of hondata? and what would you suggest if you did have the money live_4it? lol whats ur name btw uve been a help and everyone else except somewhat who woke up on the wrong side of the bed

i've been lookin at crome and it says its an "obd1 honda rom editor".... so i'm guessing that wouldn't be very useful for my car any other suggestions? lol could i run s200 or s100?
