i have a 97 civic lx and i was thinking of not building up the block but running just a turbo around 9-10psi. Anyone out there know anything that i should before i do it. If anyone knows about how much hp ill gain.

Oh man that is a really broad question... Your new so prob don't really know, but first you should read up on the stickies in the turbo section. Gain as much knowledge as you can by that. Than make a list for the parts you need. Once you have done some research and can make a list post it up and we'll help you. Generally you can run up to 12 psi on stock internals on a d series engine. But that all depends on the turbo and size, 12psi on a smaller turbo will be different othan a larger one as well as other factors. the rods are one of the d's weaker points but thats only on more stress than stock would be. As far as hp generally 180whp give take, but still lots of factors involved which you will learn all about in the stickies (threads at the top of the page in the turbo section).
