I’ve got an ’03 Civic Hybrid with a stick, not the CVT.  (A factory gas/electric hybrid, not a little car with a big motor)  I live on the top of big hill in the Snow Belt in upstate NY.  In the winter I have to park the Honda and drive a trashy old Subaru.   I know I could make it up the hill in the Honda with a good set of snow tires, if it had a real limited slip diff.  However the Quaife, which would be my first choice, doesn’t have a listing for the Hybrid diff/gearbox.  In fact everything I’ve been able to find out about it indicates that the transmission is unique to the hybrid, the axles are different, the clutch –everything.  I do know that given enough time and money anything is possible.  So does anybody know what’s actually different when I open up the gearbox/diff?  I can’t believe that all the transmission parts are really unique to the hybrid; it ought to be a matter of mixing and matching parts to come up with a combo that will work.  So if anybody has had any experience with one of these or even knows who I should talk to that might know how to make it work, I’d greatly appreciate the info.  Thanks, Steve
